How much do riding lessons cost?
Lessons range from $30-$50 at PLS.

What do I (or my child) need to get started?
A riding helmet, riding gloves, and a pair of riding boots with a ½” heel are required.

What will I (or my child) be learning?
You or your child will be taught the essentials of safety on the ground and in the tack, proper horse/handler communication, how to properly equip a horse, and learn specific skills for your desired discipline.

How does one benefit from riding?
Each experience around a horse teaches a rider how to set goals, control their personal emotions, acquire confidence, problem solve, overcome challenges, and gain self discipline.

Is riding dangerous?
Yes.  Horses are unpredictable at every moment.

Is there a weight limit?
Yes. Horses are only capable of carrying 20% of their body weight including equipment.
